Job description
Parc Oméga is currently looking for someone to join the accommodation team. Reporting to the Lodging Manager, the Day/evening receptionist performs tasks directly related to the customer’s stay, such as reserving rooms, greeting customers on arrival and during their stay, providing information about the establishment and its services, making sales and coordinating the establishment’s various services.
Main tasks :
- To provide exceptional service to our customers when booking, arriving and departing;
- Anticipate our customers’ needs to offer personalized service;
- Assign rooms, hand over keys and provide guests with useful information about the establishment
- Check satisfaction of departing customers; Customer service and product sales:
- Ensuring the safety of customers and their property
- Handle and follow up on customer comments and complaints
- Various administrative follow-ups:
- Communicate the needs associated with reservations and customer requests to the various departments within the establishment.
- Ensure the availability of equipment and follow-up on services offered to customers
- Promote the Park’s services and answer customers’ questions
Working conditions :
- Full-time, seasonal position
- Work indoors and outdoors (seasonal outdoor reception position);
- Travel by golf cart;
- Days, evenings and weekends – variable according to needs.
Skills and qualifications
- Bilingualism (French and English);
- Hotel industry training and/or experience an asset;
- Knowledge of the immediate area and tourist attractions is an asset;
- Knowledge and use of Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook and the Internet;
- Knowledge of PMS, MUSE an asset;
- Sense of responsibility, initiative and autonomy are essential;
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage priorities, stress tolerance and speed of execution;
