SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

To ensure your safety and that of our animals, please follow the safety instructions. You enter the park at your own risk. The park accepts no responsibility for any problems or direct or indirect damage that may occur during your visit.

Useful tips:

  • Bring your binoculars for a better view of the animals.

  • Don’t forget your camera or video camera.

  • During the car route, tune into the park’s radio station, 90.1FM to learn more about the animals.

  • Please note that our peak hours in the summer are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Take this into account when organising your visit in order to enjoy the best possible experience.

  • Don’t forget to buy carrots at the Park House to maximize your adventure at Parc Oméga, or bring your own.

  • A vehicle (car, bus, RV) is required to visit the park. Mesh carts are available for hire at the Maison du parc during the summer season.

  • Smoking area

    Parc Omega is proud to offer you a smoke-free environment. To ensure a healthy environment, Parc Oméga has set up smoking areas.

    Smoking and vaping are prohibited at all times on all Parc Omega grounds, except in designated areas. We thank you for your cooperation and commitment in creating a respectful environment for all.

Safety instructions :

  • Pets are strictly forbidden on the entire Parc Omega territory, including accommodations.

  • During your visit, do not get out of the vehicle. Keep all doors closed (including tailgate and sliding doors).

  • When driving, leave your windows half-open to prevent animals from poking their heads into your vehicle.

  • Only the following species can be fed on the entire Parc Omega territory: elk, red deer, fallow deer and white-tailed deer. NO OTHER ANIMALS CAN BE FED. For health and safety reasons, other species cannot be fed.

  • For the health and safety of the animals, only carrots may be fed to feedable species.

  • During the deer breeding season (September to November inclusive), avoid all male deer. It is very important not to feed them or approach them; only females can be fed during this period.

  • Supervise your children at all times.

  • You can’t do the route on a motorcycle. However, you are welcome to rent a wire cart ($), subject to availability during the summer season.

  • To keep both you and the animals safe, please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after any contact with animals or their environments.

  • It is forbidden to use a drone without authorization from park management on the entire Parc Oméga territory.

  • We reserve the right to expel anyone who does not respect these safety instructions.
