The General Maintenance Worker is under the supervision of the Field Supervisor. He/she works alone or as part of a team on maintenance and field operations, mainly in zone 11. They are team players, meticulous, reliable, dynamic and curious about their work. The General Maintenance Worker is flexible in terms of schedules and tasks. They also have a high level of physical tolerance and adaptability to an outdoor work environment.

Main functions :

• Carry out various maintenance tasks such as landscaping:
• Lawn mowing and brush cutting; Plant watering
• Very minor building maintenance and repairs;
• Manual snow removal from terraces and installations;
• Maintain toilets as needed;
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the premises according to the supervisor’s instructions;
• Handle goods safely;
• Help the field team with occasional jobs
• Assist as needed with traffic safety for arriving customers;
• Work as part of a team on various projects requested by the supervisor;
• Comply with health and safety regulations;
• Report any anomalies to the supervisor;
• Any other related tasks requested by the supervisor;
• Customer service: be able to communicate relevant bilingual information and respond to customer needs.
• Ensure that customers leave at the end of the day

Requirements:

• Manual work experience required;
• Driver’s license;
• Be comfortable in a forest environment close to animals;
• Experience operating farm machinery an asset (shovel, tractor, ATV, etc. – must be 18 years old);
• Good physical fitness;
• Ability to lift heavy loads;
• Report to work on schedule;
• Speak and understand French and English;

Working conditions :

• Year-round or seasonal, including weekends;
