CINNAMON BEAR

I

he colour of the black bear’s coat varies from black to white, going through many shades: chocolate, brown, cinnamon and blonde. The kermode bear lives in southern Alaska and British Columbia, a subspecies with an almost white coat also known as the spirit bear, the bluish-grey bears live in Glacier Bay.

All of these animals are categorised as North American black bears.

A very small percentage of cinnamon bears live in Quebec, most of them are black … but they are present and beautiful!

Two young pairs of cinnamon bears can be observed at Omega Park in the bear valley, a fabulous experience!
