CANADA GOOSE

This beautiful goose with its black neck and head, white cheeks, brown wings and white chest spends summer at the park. Being a migratory bird, the Canada goose spends summer in this country where it will reproduce, then in November will make its way to the south of the United States. Migrating in large groups, Canada geese fly in a V formation and can cover up to 1000 kilometers in one day! The goose at the front of the formation makes the most effort and the others will experience less air resistance. When the goose at the front if tired, they will be replaced by the second and so on and so forth.

The female will lay and egg in the same place she was born which guarantees that the species will stay until the cold months. Canada geese are very loyal and couples mate for life
