You will see two sub-species of wolf at the park, the grey wolf and the arctic wolf. The Arctic wolf has a white coat which includes a few grey hairs. Their muzzle, ears and legs are slightly shorter than those of their cousin, the grey wolf, and their behavior is less aggressive.
The Arctic wolf is a subspecies of the grey wolf. It lives on the Canadian Arctic islands and on Greenland’s northern and eastern shores. It is well adapted to these regions with extreme climates.
