Reporting to the Lodging Manager, the <strong><u>Day\/evening receptionist<\/u><\/strong> performs tasks directly related to the customer&#8217;s stay, such as reserving rooms, greeting customers on arrival and during their stay, providing information about the establishment and its services, making sales and coordinating the establishment&#8217;s various services. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Main tasks :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To provide exceptional service to our customers when booking, arriving and departing;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anticipate our customers&#8217; needs to offer personalized service;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assign rooms, hand over keys and provide guests with useful information about the establishment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check satisfaction of departing customers; Customer service and product sales:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring the safety of customers and their property<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle and follow up on customer comments and complaints<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Various administrative follow-ups:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate the needs associated with reservations and customer requests to the various departments within the establishment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the availability of equipment and follow-up on services offered to customers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote the Park&#8217;s services and answer customers&#8217; questions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Working conditions :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full-time, seasonal position<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work indoors and outdoors (seasonal outdoor reception position);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel by golf cart;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Days, evenings and weekends &#8211; variable according to needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Skills and qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bilingualism (French and English);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hotel industry training and\/or experience an asset;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of the immediate area and tourist attractions is an asset;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge and use of Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook and the Internet;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of PMS, MUSE an asset;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sense of responsibility, initiative and autonomy are essential;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent customer service skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to manage priorities, stress tolerance and speed of execution;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job description Parc Om\u00e9ga is currently looking for someone to  [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10,"template":"","meta":{"awsm_set_exp_list":"","awsm_job_expiry":"","awsm_exp_list_display":"","awsm_pro_exclude_job":"","awsm_job_filled":"","awsm_job_cc_email_addresses":"","awsm_pro_application_limit":0,"awsm_pro_application_form":{"id":"default"}},"class_list":["post-26094","awsm_job_openings","type-awsm_job_openings","status-publish","hentry","job-category-day-receptionist","job-type-day-shift","job-type-evening-shift","job-type-face-to-face","job-type-weekend","job-type-working-on-public-holidays","job-location-accommodations","permis-ou-certificat-permis-de-conduire-souhaite"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.parcomega.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/awsm_job_openings\/26094","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.parcomega.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/awsm_job_openings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.parcomega.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/awsm_job_openings"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.parcomega.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/10"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.parcomega.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=26094"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
