Parc Oméga is currently seeking candidates to fill a number of Maintenance Attendant positions. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the proper repair and maintenance of buildings, as well as assisting with construction and certain carpentry/woodworking tasks throughout the Park site.
Main tasks:
– Ensure that plumbing and electrical components are functional and in good condition
– Ensure that shelves and racks are properly installed
– Ensure that furniture is properly maintained and repaired
– Assist with various building maintenance tasks (repair of walls, doors, windows, floors, etc.)
– Assist with various construction tasks (building, fences, pens, animal structures, etc.)
– Any other related tasks
Working conditions:
– Mostly outdoor work, physical work
– Competitive salary for the region
– May be asked to work evenings, weekends and holidays depending on operational needs.
Requirements and profile sought:
– Carpentry training (journeyman card an asset)
– Experience on a construction site or similar work environment
– ASP card, CCQ an asset
– WHMIS certification
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
– Customer service experience an asset
– Valid driver’s license
– Bilingual (French, English)
– Ability to work as part of a team and independently
