The coat color of the black bear varies from black to white, going through many shades: chocolate, brown, cinnamon and blond. In southern Alaska and British Columbia, the Kermode Bear, a subspecies with an almost white coat called: Spirit Bears (“Bear-Spirits” 1), bluish-gray bears occupy Alaska’s Glacier Bay. All these animals belong to the species of the American black bear
A very small percentage of cinnamon bears live in Quebec, most of them are black … but they are present and beautiful!
