ARCTIC FOX

Smaller that the red fox, the arctic fox is adapted to the polar regions. Indeed, as its legs and muzzle are shorter it retains heat better. Its dense fur, which is much appreciated by hunters, can be white or grey (silver fox, blue fox).

This fox can be found in all of the arctic regions of the world. They mainly eat lemmings, hares and birds.
