RACCOON

During your drive through the park, you will probably see the “masked” animal that is the raccoon.

This smart and sociable animal has a big appetite. With a highly developed sense of smell, the raccoon is always in search of food.

You will see them near food troughs or lakes at dusk.

Notice the use of their fingers and their habit of rubbing food in its hands as if kneading it. That is why we in French it is called the ‘washing rat’.
